Why “Robot Terror”?

Official Adobe Office Nameplate for "Robot"

The name combines my interest in automation and AI (“Robot”) with a playful nod to the sometimes concerning implications of technology (“Terror”). It’s a reminder to build technology mindfully, with awareness of both its benefits and potential risks.

Most importantly, though: it’s a malapropism of my given name “Robert Taylor” which you can read about here. The nickname eventually stuck so well that it even made it onto my official office nameplate at Adobe in Seattle!
